STEM SISTERS MARY ANNING
KS1/KS2

Introduces legendary paleontologist Mary Anning to learn her story of discovering fossils and investigate her world by finding ‘curiosities’. Piece together puzzles and uncover how fossils form in sedimentary rocks and give us clues about the classification of animals.

The impact of working with HMDT Music has been transformational, enabling us to connect with inspiring artists to support teachers in their approaches to planning and delivering high quality learning experiences. Incorporating the arts into all our classes has seen an increase in children’s motivation, engagement and self-esteem. There is no doubt that without our long term involvement with HMDT Music’s TIME Project our curriculum would not have been judged to be outstanding by OFSTED.
